Kent Reichert is a realtor with Compass PA and buys and sells estates. Kent created the architecture beat for the Philadelphia Business Journal in the late 1980s before earning a Masters in Government Administration from the Fels Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as Director of Financial Policy and Analysis for the Philadelphia City Controller and was a policy analyst for Mayor Anthony Williams of the District of Columbia.
He got his passion for art and architecture from his father, an architect and city planner, and his passion for salvage from his mother, a habitué of thrift stores.
He lives with his wife and three children in the house his father designed and built in 1966 in Upper Roxborough, but travels to Barcelona, his mother’s birthplace, as often as possible. He and his kids have dual U.S. and Spanish citizenship.
