Brittany is a new member of the Board of Directors, joining in 2020. Her volunteer work has centered around animal welfare, voter registration, and food security, particularly through volunteer leadership with the Junior League of Philadelphia.
Brittany has been involved in nonprofits and service all her life, inspired by the emphasis on volunteering at her high school. She grew up in northern Delaware and did her undergraduate work at Bryn Mawr College. After working for five years in healthcare, Brittany obtained her Master’s in Public Health at Arcadia University. This degree gave her the opportunity to complete a Master’s internship in West Africa, with the Unite for Sight Program.
Currently, Brittany has transitioned to a career in oncology clinical research, at Abington Memorial Hospital’s Asplundh Cancer Pavilion. She is excited to begin her work on the Board, helping to make Philadelphia a stronger and more vibrant community!
