Want to join the team of preservation, environmental, and arts advocates? We have some major hands-on opportunities for our community this summer. Together, let’s create, innovate, and make a huge difference in our city! The Philadelphia Community Corps (PCC) is seeking motivated interns and volunteers with an eye for design and keen sense of history to help us further our mission for neighborhood revitalization.
To submit your intent, please refer to the below instructions for each open position:
The Photography Intern will visually capture architectural treasures and antiques under the direction of PCC’s Operations Director. Photographs are for the purpose of online posts and listings that make up Philly Reclaim’s online inventory. Philly Reclaim’s inventory is salvaged by Philadelphia Community Corps deconstruction job training program or donated for resell. As a summer-long project, the Photography Intern will be responsible for creating a visual collection to showcase their work, which will be featured on our website. Ideally, the Photography Internship will become a paid position at Philly Reclaim. Throughout the semester, the Photography Intern will assist in identifying potential stock image websites that select photographic content can be re-purposed. A future paid position will encompass the management of stock photos on these websites, creating an additional source of fundraising and income for this newly created role.
Interested applicants should send a digital portfolio and resume to kelsey@
