Help support Philadelphia Community Corps job training programs and the Philly Reclaim building material reuse center through the Coronavirus pandemic, so we can be there for our community.
Every day, Philadelphia Community Corps is creating jobs for people who need them most, and Philly Reclaim is open for business so that people always have a place to buy affordable reclaimed building materials. Now, we need your help. Our organization is committed to our mission of teaching people how to revitalize their neighborhoods through deconstruction and reuse, but if we can’t pay our staff, our rent, or to keep the lights on then we all lose this.
We’re fortunate that as an essential business we’re allowed to stay open. We’re working hard to keep providing affordable building materials to everyone that’s stuck at home on lockdown, and needs critical supplies to be able to stay busy, productive, and safe at home. But our project revenue came to a halt with the construction ban, and our sales revenue has slowed to a trickle. This is coming at a time when we recently expended most of our savings moving to a new, bigger warehouse in Tacony, where we’re still setting up our store.
That’s why we’re asking for your help. Please join us in supporting the Philadelphia Community Corps workforce development mission, and the Philly Reclaim building material reuse center’s opportunities for reuse. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support, so we can keep our staff employed for the foreseeable future of this pandemic, as well as covering costs for rent and utilities at our beautiful new facility, so we don’t lose our ability serve our community. Help keep a roof over our heads, and our employees financially stable enough that we can use this time to come back from this crisis better than ever.
Your involvement is critical to our success and solving this issue. Thank you again for your help.
